so i said **** it.. i got absolutely screwed before so i said i better check my gearbox... took it apart to check synchros and diff... so whipped it all apart... y1 i have is a non lsd case. and ive been told that to fit the diff in the inside of the casing needs to be cut a notch or two.. fair enough... so my conundrum is... i have a diff ( no bar in the middle) i was told it was kaaz... bu t the casing is a non lsd and has not been cut... what the **** is my diff?? ill try get pics up tomorrow but any help is appreciated..

What transmission case do you have?

 

y1 non lsd....

 

 

Never installed a KAAZ in a Y1.
However, Googled and I don't see any case mod for install.
