i have a b16 swap and have basic mods (i/h/e) i am looking to get more power out of it thinking of running skunk2 cams/gears, manifold, throttle body, valves do you guys think that there is better parts or what. also thinking of new ecu not sure what to go with. any ideas appreciated.

 

Why are you thinking of doing those mods? Do you know what they will do to you car are are you just listing them off because you think that's the route you're supposed to take for horsepower? Are you planning on tuning the car to take full advantage of those mods?

 

yes i plan on tuning it. i want better throttle response, better are flow, and in all honesty i just want to have more hp

 

You didn't answer my question though.

How much horsepower are those mods supposed to give you? Where will you feel the gain you're supposed to get the most?

 

I'm hopeing to get around 200-210 altogether that's what I will be satisfied at but for gain my guess would be on the freeway, racing but like I said I'm new to all of this

 

Hoping doesn't sound realistic to me. It sounds like you're just mimicking a parts list and hoping for the best. It is never wise to put parts on your car unless you know how they will run on your car SPECIFICALLY.

And you plan on tuning it on what? Are YOU doing the tuning?
