i just purchased my ek coupe and after 170k miles, the engine mounts appear to be original still. i would like to address this soon, and was wondering which mounts tend to go bad often and make the most difference, as well as what brands are good to use, i see anchor mounts on rockauto for super cheap, though i dont know if they will offer oem smoothness.

any input would be awesome.

all stock, this is my daily and i dont plan on swapping anytime soon, though in the future i might.

 

get oem mounts
they usually dont go bad. if all mounts are intact. if they are torn then they are bad

 

i havent inspected them all, but the one on the drivers side has a date stamped july 2000, so im left to assume they have aged... im just getting some buzzing and vibration inside thats annoying, and the engine seems loud
