Hi guys I just finished swapping my b20b I started it up and it ran great I drove it a few blocks to my friends house shut it off and when I went to start it and leave it sounded like it was misfiring and smelt like fuel I drove it back and it would sputter until about 3000 rpm then it would smoke a little and u could see it spitting gas out of the exhaust I am pretty new on swapping cars and I had Lots of help from my local tuner friends. There is no jumper harness to check ecu codes but some are saying it's wiring others are saying it's censors they said it could be injectors also..

 

Check mechanical and ignition timing.

 

Also check the ECT "sensor", not the ECT "switch" or the ECT "sending unit". 94

 

i know timing is dead on and i have checked it 3 times and had a shop check it.. and thats good its making my spark plugs solid black within 20 minutes of just idling and it spits it out..
