Yeah ive actually seen one. Pretty much a mini b18. Im not quite sure why you would want one but you really dont have many choices on finding one execpt to find that year of integra that hasnt had it ripped out yet. They are the only usdm car to have it i believe. There just so happens to be one on ebay for 950 plus shipping right now lol.
yea, i actualy checked mine and found one for $350 but it smokes si id have to rebuild it. not a big deal... =\
just need a tranny too. lookin to buy a whole integra but they are a rare find.

only good thing b out the D16zc is the better oil flow due to the better oil pump and large/more holes to the crank, spins less bearings . other then that the y8 is basicaly the same, just weaker on the crank, tends to spin bearings because the lack of oil ports n pump sucks
if your going with dohc just pick up a b18b1.. they are bullet proof and will bolt any b series tranny to it and r reliable and cheaper then 950 plus shipping if you look around...

Im not sure if your saying the D16ZC oil pump is better... but that is incorrect
Talk to most anyone after turbo they loose alot of oil pressure and spin bearings. The D16ZC is junk... makes no huge diffrence over a Sohc and I would rather have a Z6 over a ZC any day.

First of all, what car are you swapping this into?
I just sold an 89 Integra LS SE with a d16a1 in it, and it burnt an exhaust valve on me and I had to rebuilt the entire thing.
You should know that d16a1 is sort of an isolated motor. No other d series tranny, or head, or harness, or mounts, or anything will work on it. Even if you go with JDM ZC motors, the trannies and cams and stuff dont really line up, there is little modification needed everywhere.
If you have a first gen integra with a blown d16a1, then yeah, rebuild it, dont bother finding one. But if you have any other car and want to swap it in, id avoid it... unless its an 84-87 crx, I believe its a straight swap
