Temp Gauge does not work!
I have a 95 civic coupe d15b7. I bought it, temp gauge did not work. Replaced the temp. sending unit (2-wire under dizzy), no luck. What can I do to make my gauge work? It's driving me nuts!! haha all input is greatly appreciated!
i've yet to try that. but from everything i've read, that's not the sensor I want because it has two wires. All the forums i've read say to replace the sensor with one wire, by the two wire sensor under the distributor, but I looked and do not have one?
Thanks for the picture. Hopefully it helps! By chance, is that sensor available at autozone, advance auto, etc., or is it a dealer part that I have to get at a dealer? ha when I looked earlier today, the only one wire sensor i could find was the one under the intake on the firewall side of the motor.

The sender unit under the distributor provides signals for the temp gauge in the cluster. Ground the wire in the connector to see whether the temp gauge reading rises.

hey sorry it took so long to get back to you about the situation. The reason I couldnt find it was because the previous owner must have broken the sensor off.. haha but i got it out, replaced it and the gauge works now.. thanks for all the help!
I assume it was still threaded into the head?
