I used EnergySupension polyurethane swaybar bushings. They cost 13 dollars at any auto parts store, the kit comes with 8 bushings. As far as the bolts i got them at the auto parts store the size i used was M6-1.0X30MM made by Dorman. You are going to have to find washers to fit them really good but that is what i used and had no issues with it yet and it been a year and a half and the red bushings look good under the hood.

Just take off one bolt and bring it in to a hardware store or something. Or I used bolts that came from a motor I tore apart. Get them an inch or so longer and buy a bunch of washers. I have about 4 thick washers shimming my hood up and it's not real obvious. I'm just trying to get a little air flow without making it look obvious.

The urethane isn't a bad idea. My hood shakes quite a bit with urethane motor mounts, maybe rubber washers would help dampen it, thought it may also deteriorate and cause more issues as they degrade. I don't feel like paying $13 for hardware to prop my hood up when I propped mine with junk I had lying around.

Here is a good write-up I found on this. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/review-jdm-hood-prop-good-bad-ugly-2107241/

I want to prop my hood pretty soon, my valve cover contacts my hood and theres a pretty good sized dent in my hood as a result (mostly because of my bad motor mount)

well then dont spend the hole 13 dollars it going to take to pop your hood like i did. The poly bushing wont break down like rubber thats why there an upgrade but i guessing you knew that. I gave you the bolt size and thread that was needed for the job but i guess thats not good enough. You can do the hole job for about 18 bucks with the stuff i told you about but you do what you want and make it from **** you laying around like the other guys and see how many people compliment on a nice hood job. im so done with this fourm.

I used 3 washers on the rear and 2 on the front bolts and just reused the bolts... didnt have to buy anything but like 50 cents worth of washers...
