D16Y7 mystery bracket on block
This D16Y7 is from a 98 LX. I didn't tear the motor down so I have no idea what this bracket is used for.
It's bolted to the block with one bolt.
I think it's there to hold the fuel return line? But I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated.

I just checked and the harness coming from the crank along the timing cover clips to the bracket at the connector and there is also a plastic c clip connected to it to hold a portion of the main harness up from dangling. It doesn't serve a purpose really besides supporting clips and harnesses. The notch in that bracket is where the "c" clip slides and locks in to hold the harness.
