Icon2 Problems with hasport rear mount... please help

OK I have a 942 accord coupe ex. With an h22a. I had alot if problems with the stock rear
Mount so I ordered a set of hasport ones. My question is that the rear mount on my accord looks like it has 4 bolt holes and my hasport one only has three. Has anyone replaced their mounts with these hasport ones? And did u have any problems?

Has anyone put these mounts in their accord.? I don't wanna tear everything out and then find out that its not the right mount. All the other other mounts went in perfect but as I was looking at the rear one on the car it looks to have four bolts and the hasport one has three holes in a triangle pattern. Any info is appreciated

did you take the rear mount out of the accord yet? then you can actually check to see if the rear mount will bolt to the crossmember.

No I haven't pulled it out yet. It just looks way different. I'm wondering if its supposed to go on the front? Has anyone used these mounts. I'm thinking of just calling hasport

ex and auto mounts usually had 4 bolts and lx/dx 5 spd mounts usually have 3 bolts. usually a 3 bolt mount has a smaller footprint and uses bolt holes that are hidden under the larger oil filled mount.

Wow, impressive! Customer service without even being contacted directly.

Thanks hasport the mount bolted in but now I have another problem. The mount is almost 2one inches too short. Do you guys sell a spacer to put in between the crossmember and the mount? I tried dropping the motor down. Pulling the other mounts out its just too short.

the mount isnt too short

you need to use a prelude 5spd or accord 5spd rear engine bracket

Well I'm pretty sure I have the accord rear bracket. I tried getting the bracket out and its in there pretty good I tried for about twenty minutes to wiggle it out and its not coming out. I think I'm just gonna have a shop make me a block to put in between the mount and cross member. Is this going to affect anything? Like is it gonna put more stress on the mount or will it be ok

you need the correct rear engine bracket. making the mount sit up higher is not what the design was intended for.

reading your post and you said you pulled a big 4 bolt mount out of your accord tells me that you do not have the proper rear engine bracket

Right, make sure your rear mount bracket is for a manual transmission! Otherwise, you'll have problems.
