Default 1988 honda civic lx running poorly help!

hello all i have a 1988 honda civic lx with a d15b2 motor thats stock and i just did a buntch of work replace a burnt valve,headgasket timming belt,plugs,

the car runs alright except at ideal it has a stumble or slight miss and you can feel it throught out the car and it your driving down the road at 2000 rpm it jerks as if its not getting enough fuel.

can anybody help me out ?

Mine does the same thing. Im ordering a.new o2 next week. Could also be fuel filter or dirty injector nets.

Ok a mechanic friend told me that when ur 02 starts to go bad it reads too much fuel and give a slight fuel cut. I swapped mine yesterday and car drives wayyyyyyy better. No more hesitation or stumbles.i paid 35 for a bosch one with clip on ebay new shipped

Sounds more like you set the mechanical timing wrong.
