ok, so i have an ek with a single cam zc, i bought the car with a few mods and one of them was and msd ignition dizzy cap. yesterday my car died as i was driving so i got out of my car and popped the hood and noticed that ignition was burning up. it looked like a damn smoke bomb just making white smoke. does anyone have any idea why this happened? the car has been running fine for about 3 months before this happened

 

Because it's MSD. There's no reason to run one of these stock . Revert everything back to stock and you'll be fine. BTW three months isn't really a long time.

 

oh. i just had it on because it came with the car. i just bought a stock one. i just wanted to know if it was another thing causing the problem so i could fix the problem and it would not mess up my stock one now. thanx
