Welcome to HT!!!

do b20's even continue to make power @ 9200? in any case I wouldn't recommend revving it that high or that motors as good as gone man. especially w/out sleeves to support those rpm's.

PS- Vtec bud, vtec valve cover.

*Car looks good.

Cheers, welcome...faq's, sticky's, and "search" is your greatest friend here at HT.

No doubt man. Cheers and welcome, you'll find great b20 build information in the all motor section.

There is a whole thread about b20v builds on stock sleeves where people posted their setups and dynographs.

best of luck!!!

3" too big for that little hp. Also, the 3" Thermal R&D exhaust doesn't have a resonator, as it's designed for turbo'd cars. You should get an exhaust with a resonator so you don't get the ricer buzz. Why the clutch? There's no point to having an extreme clutch if it's not needed.

I was going to ask about the wheels as well. They're pretty badass! Do you remember the name of them?

The 3" exhaust is because my tuner said with this setup the car produce more hp. I don't now so much about the best setup of this cars, my last cars was a STI is very different. I bought the car 1 month ago. What exhaust is recommend with my setup?? I look the all motor section and see some people with exactly setup in 230-240 hp. That is excellent for me.....that is my goal. Thanks for the comments, all recommend are welcome.

Thanks. It turns out Rota also makes an imitation, and the Rota version is probably lighter.

I'd think a 3" exhaust would be more for 250+ whp. 2.5" would probably be good with your setup. If you do go with the Thermal R&D, get a resonator like I mentioned before. It doesn't come with one, like smaller exhausts do.

Thanks man. I see a ultra quiet resonator by vibrant in ebay for apply it to the exhaust. The 3" exhaust come in my mind because i'm thinking in make the car turbo on 8 month approx.

3" will probably make more power than 2.5", but it will be louder.

Why go turbo? You already have an advanced all-motor build. Turbocharging would be like starting from scratch.

Like the guy above me already said, you'll have to rebuild your motor for a turbo. 11.5 CR and stage 3 cams aren't a good idea for a turbo. Also, a resonator isn't needed with a turbo.

Keep the 3". It's been proven to make more power even on N/A setups.

I call

Do you know this for a fact? How much weight savings are you talking here??? Links please...

I'm willing to bet a pretty penny they're almost identical in weight, plus i'd rather have "H" center caps instead of the shitty Rota ones.

Not to mention I don't think its possible to to find the Rota's for $560 shipped, or is it?

Just my $.02

Nope, that's why I said probably. How can you call BS on that? That doesn't even make sense.

Another thing; in the link you provided, the seller said that he's not selling them anymore, so I don't see why you'd get butthurt about those wheels getting compared to Rotas. Rotas might be the only option right now anyway.

I call bullshit because you come into this thread stating that Rotas are "probably" lighter...lol, makes perfect sense to me.

What in the world would make you think that Rota's are "probably" lighter man? Can you even answer that? Are you aware of a special metal that Rota uses or perhaps a forging process that is different than what other sellers produce? If they're "probably" lighter I'd love to know why...that's all I'm asking.

No one's butt hurt champ..promise.

If you have reasoning I'd love to know your thoughts... that's all I'm asking...

Thanks for comments. Today i bought a clutchmaster fx400 6 puck and final drive 4.785 of the ITR. The exhaust that i see in some thread and i like it is the apexi ws2 3" with customs mandrel bends and vibrant ultra quiet resonator. The next step is get out the head cylinder for realize the port and angle job by TR MACHINE P.R. I'm going to update the thread when finish the job.

After reading this, I am curious. What Type R replica is lighter. Too bad I couldnt find any info on the matter.
