Default Installing a front speaker G3 Integra - harness question

Hey guys, My friend got free $50 speakers from circuit city when he bought his deck.. After a couple of weeks with my nakamichi, my front speakers are rattling like crazy. So my friend gave me the speakers - I mean anything is better than rattling stock 15W speakers right? Anyway..

I've got the door off and everything disassembled, what do I do with the wires though? The stock harness won't fit the one on the new speaker, and theres 4 wires on the stock harness and only a + and - on the new speaker? Lemme take a pic real quick. Anyone?

You can always buy a $5 harness pair that converts that to a standard positive/negative. Or you can cut off that connector and do it yourself, just make sure you get the + and - right.

your local best buy or whatever should have harness, it might cost $5-15
much easier that way

You don't have to cut off anything. If you look at the connector you can just remove the grey connector if you want, it gives you a little extra wire to work with and you have the connector if you ever want it. You also did not have to remove your door panel, the speaker grills pop right off. Perfect example of why a shop manual is the best investment to make when you buy a car. When I get a chanve I will look in the manual and see what color wire is + and what is -

all you have to do is cut the wire off at the plastic connector. Theres nothing to it. I replaced all the speakers in my car, and theyre working fine.

dont cut stock connectors, it doesnt matter what it is for. it is not going to kill anybody to spend 5 dollars to buy the speaker harnesses. besides why damage you car in any way when you don't have to.
