I've been dreaming of getting this set of HFP wheels, so thought I'd share my joy of their arrival and also a little history
bought my DX with stock 14 inch black steelies. Then I bought a wrecked SI so the sI wheels went on, and the steelies carried the sI shell to the junk yard.
stripped the SI wheels and refinished in white, loved the look, didn't like that they were 15s

while I was working on the SIs I was rocking these sweet 14 steelies in white. Got an awesome sidewall puncture, so I actually sold this set for $300 on craisglist (I know I was stunned!)

and with the money bought these for $200

aaaand I hated them. The paint was crap, the fitment was crap, so I sold them, for $250!! I love craigslist
and bought these fat fives someone had already painted white for me, $250, so no magic deal on the craigslist this time

The fat fives are still on the car, but I found a good deal on the wheels I've really wanted for an age, so I stripped my SIs and sold them bare, without tires for $300

made a little extra money stripping some friends wheels, here's my daughter helping

so I could afford a set of HFP Split Spoke 7s, SS7s as I've seen them called sometimes. They are a 4 lug 16 inch version of the EP3 type r wheel (which is 5 lug 17inch)
The boxes arrive!!!

seductive teasing in wheel lingerie

oh hello! you look so much better in person than I ever imagined!

sitting in front of my fat fives makes em look like spinners (yuck) but some idea

and I'm pretty tempted to refinish them just like my SIs, white with red H's, opinions?

Those are really nice wheels. My mate has a set of the Type-R ones on his 5th gen Prelude, and I've seen a picture of two of those 4-bolt ones on a Civic and they work really well too. Pretty rare, I think? Over here in Europe I've seen those as an option on "Sport" trim 7th gen Civic hatches.
Friend's EP3-R ones:

ok... so what, do you want an apology? I'm sorry I didn't buy your wheels.
