Clunk when starting with wheel turned
I can't for the life of me remember my old username and it says it wasn't associated with my email so I had to make a new account. Anyway here's the deal.
08 Civic Si
Anytime I start off with the wheels cut either direction there's a loud clunk in the steering somewhere. Say I back out of the driveway then proceed to start off turned left CLUNK. Just once. Dealer here is the biggest bunch of jamtarts around, they claim "Steering rack/Frame bolts" seems wrong and they forgot to tighten my lugs last time and nearly lost a tire on a 900km highway trip. Any ideas? search turns up no results.
thanks

I had a clunk in my 06 but it could be heard when putting on the brake it was the sub-frame bolts, get under the car with a long breaker bar and socket and tighten those 4 bolts.
2 up front and 2 in the rear of the subframe, that holds the engine and the rack.
