My sun roof button hasn't worked since I bought my teggy and I came across a button to replace it with. My first question is how does the freaking air vent come out and secondly can the switch come out by itself so I don't have to take the air vent out. An help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. My teggy is a 1998 GS Sedan if that information is need b.c the vents are differ between the sedan and hatch.

 

Switch should just "pop" out, get in behind the switch and push.

Thanks for the picture but I want to replace the vent as well due to the fact it is broken too. I'm glad to know the switch just pops out as that is a major plus! So anyone know how the vent comes out?

Sorry, forgot all about you, so I went out to my 94 and popped out the switch, [it's my nitrous on/off switch] and there is a Philips screw under/behind the switch, through the hole to the right, [bottom of vent] you can see the hole in the vent, on the pic. 94
