My dads car is pretty much done. Looking to help my dad get another car. Basically looking to get an SUV/Crossover, i.e Rav4, Highlander, CRV, 4Runner, Pilot...stuff like that. He'd prefer something that can seat up to 7, but 5 passengers is fine. Would also consider a full-size sedan as well, i.e Accord V6, Avalon, Camry V6. Looking mainly for a Japanese car, but will consider domestics also.

There is one catch though...we only have about 7-8k max to spend...i know its a long shot, but I'm just trying to do what I can to find him a car. I'm searching craigslist also but thought I'd give HT a try also. Thanks in advance!

If you're interested, we can also throw in his car as a trade plus cash. Its a Black 97 MPV All Sport w/ 4wd. Clean title, but has front end damage (fixed, but missing grill) and miscellaneous dings, dents, and scratches. Its throwing a code for Random Misfire (P0300). its got approximately 230k miles on it. He's just done with fixing it. I can upload pics if theres any interest.

Are you guys only looking for an 05 or newer? I have a 95 Mercedes c280 that I just got mu from landlord. I just can't afford insurance on two cars. And plus I don't know anything about mercedes'. I was going to give it to my wife. But I'd rather get her a Honda, or something I am morefamiliar with.
