i have ef four door wit an od1 ls.. the whole car was convetered 0bd1 by the old owner..my car runs like **** and it got an cel code 9.. i can figure what the problem is because i change the dizzy twice still the same **** and the cyp is in the dizzy.. help plz

 

CAR START AND RUN REALLY ROUGH

 

recheck the wiring. its possible the wires have an open or are making really bad contact. it is helpful if you tell us what you have checked out and what you have found.

could be that the wires from ECU pins C1 and C2 are switched at the distributor connector

 

did it jus start runnin like that, or did you buy it that way?

 

i bought it like that thinkin it was an easy fix... i cut c1/c2 and ran it str8 to see if there short in wires and still no.. car run but sounds like an wrx. and wen i rev it up it feels like it missin or runnin on 2 cyl only

 

i change the dizzy also and still got the code 9.. at the ecu am runnin an odb0 to odb1 step up harness to an 9r4 ecu

Okay you ran it straight, did you try them switched around and what not?
