Default 95 Civic - Is a D16a6 swap straightforward?

I'm new to the Honda game for sure. I have a 1995 CX shell that I'm looking to put a motor in for cheapsies so I can have a gas mileage/beater car.

Locally I cant find **** for real. I have a d series trans and accessories, so it would be cheaper to find a d series, or so I thought.

A friend of mine is selling a D16A6 for the lowe and I'm wondering if this is a bolt in deal where I can use all EG mounts or what. I'm not car illiterate, but I vaguely saw a post when i used the "search" button and it said soumething about mismatched mounts?

Doesnt make sense. its a d series in a eg.. shouldnt I be able to use my stock eg mounts?

As far as the ecu goes, I'm gonna do a OBD1 from HAmotorsports chipped and socketed with the PM6 base map to get me going.

use all the stock eg mount...even the one on the motor(driverside)
use your stock manifolds.
im pretty sure you can find/use a dx(p06) ecu
basically you'll just use the a6 longblock(head and block) only.
