Default Swapping Swift springs for Ground Controls

Currently my EK has your standard Koni Yellow/Ground Control setup. The rates are 310f/380r. I do not like the current spring setup. The front seems too soft and the rear too harsh. Would switching to Swift sport springs w/ different rates be a wise move? I like the way the spring is designed and have been working on reducing unsprung weight as well. If so, what rates would you recommend for a daily driver? One finger gap all around.

Why wouldn't you just order custom rates from ground control? They'll let you pick whatever you want. 310 is awfully soft for the front. Going 450/380 would be a really nice street/autocross setup with a 22mm rear swaybar.

Flip your springs for now.

I would never dream of runing 310's up front.

Yeah i guess i'll swap the springs and see how it feels. I just figured using Swift springs would be a minor "upgrade" in the comfort department due to less coils and seemingly better materials. Not that Eibach springs aren't quality. I'm gonna have to do more research on the materials and spring design of each. Thanks guys.

Either will work I guess.
I really can't to speak to swift being an upgrade over Eibach.

But will give you a little bit of a better idea, or save you some $$$.

For the most part coils are coils. Don't get so fixated on brands.

As long as they come from a reputable company it doesn't matter much in terms of longevity. Function/Rates/progressiveness will all vary, but they wont' "die".

I think that a spring is the last thing to be looking at upgrading, you won't notice the difference in un-sprung mass and you probably won't notice any difference in spring performance between two springs of the same nominated rate if both are from a reputable manufacturer. I have always used Swift springs on my coilovers just because they are easy to get hold of but I wouldn't hesitate to use any other brand too, especially if they were cheap.

Thanks for the input guys. Swapped the springs and it feels noticeably better driving on the street. Will consider different rates in the future.
