Need furthur assistance with a light problem.
So after getting rained on for about two days, (not sure if this is the cause of the problem or just pure coincidence) I left a friend house and had no cluster lights, side lights, or tail lights. The blinkers, headlights, gear indicator lights, odometer light, stereo, ect. all still work. I have checked all fuses related to lighting, replaced all relays in under dash fuse box with ones I know work, took the dimmer relay out cleaned up the connections, put it back together reinstalled it and still have nothing. Cleaning the dimmer and it still not working is no indication that it is necessarily good but, I thought I would give it a try. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which wires ect. I should check the volts on the find the problem? I looked under the dash while I had it apart and didn't see any melted wires. Thanks to everyone in advance I really appreciate it. =]

I would suggest that you recheck the fuses - this time with a 12v test lamp / probe. They (fuses) often look good but are indeed not. If not the fuse, then an issue with the fuse box itself would be suspect.
Why do I suggest this?
The Tail Lamps and the side markers share the same Fuse and circuit. The Dash lights are actually powered off the Tail Lamp Circuit (AFTER the Tail Lamp fuse). In effect, the dash lamps are powered by two (2) fuses .... thus when the tail lamps go out, the dash lamps extinguish as well.
The fuse box / fuses are the only place that these systems are common.

Thank you. I will recheck all my fuses. I checked the dimmer relay and there is no power coming from anything but the headlights and horn. But if I have a blown fuse that would be why.
Ok so I rechecked all my fuses all are good. Replaced the dimmer relay switch and still have no lights. I am so frustrated!! =] any more suggestions?
yes i checked the fuses under the hood. check the relays under there too with one i know works and still have nothing. i have continuity to all fuse slots all the fuses are good. have no clue. could a stereo wire have jiggled and grounded wrong? or would that for sure blow fuses? as mad as i would be.....could it be a burnt out bulb somewhere? right now im pretty much willing to try anything. making sure im not stuck out driving at night is kind of getting old. =]
