Default Fog light help!!!!

So I have my bumper pulled off, cleaning up the fogs before the install. I have the left fog, both types of left style brackets (crx, and ones that I were told were ef hatch/ sedan). if im looking at the bumper from the back side, left on left and right on right, right? then why the F&^K can't i get these things to line up with the template in the bumper? this is a '91 ef hatch if that makes any difference. PLEASE help as I would like to wrap this up this weekend.

from the looks of it ,it doesn't seem to be a jdm frnt bumper(but i could be wrong) You have enough space in between the other two holes to drill the holes to mount them urself bro. Or make custom brackets.

Its a USDM bumper with USDM ef fogs. the frustrating thing is i have both style brackets.... this should just be a bolt on affair.... so much for that. the other problem is the template on the inside of the bumper is about 1/4 in. larger all the way around.... is that normal?

Make sure the brackets match up to the year. 88-89 and 90-91 have different style fog light brackets

yea the, 1/4 inch is for play,my homie has the sir fogs but they don't attach to the bumper. i had prelude fogs and easily mounted them to bumper support and still had the quarter inch play all around. .shoot a pic of the front view of the fog lights to make sure what were dealing with!

Was told these were correct lights for CRX/EF just having this bracket issue. Am i correct in wanting to bolt up the bracket to the one threaded hole on the bottom torwards the center of the bumper under the turn signal?

If i switch to the '89 bumper support, will I be able to run my '91 bumper cover? or should i just say F*%K it and sell the fogs, brackets and OEM harness with switch. whats your thoughts?

you have it wrong sir. 88-91 use the same fog lights. its the brackets that are different. on 88-89 the brackets have a wider top bolt pattern compared to 90-91 brackets. the difference between the actual foglights is just a Bosch or Stanley style fog light.

the 88-89 style brackets have more of a "T" style set up.

by "T" your talking about the 3 bolt holes correct? the three bolt holes on the second bracket are in the shape of a T. 1st pic bracket on the right

generic pic based off your bumper pic. hopefully you get the idea. the portion where it bolts to the bumper contours to the bends on the bumper support. and based on the outline of your bumper looks like you have an 88-89 style front end which normally only had the Bosch fog lights.
