just put the engine( z6 w/ vitra pistons 16g turbo with stock injectors) together and started it.... started but now i get some white smoke out the breather port of the valve cover ..... has anyone had this problem.... need help asap thanks

Vitara's run lose piston to wall clearence correct? The mtor needs to be broken in it will probably always have a little smoke out of the breather but thats ok, itsventing the crankcase pressure. My turbo gsr smokes out of my breather tank after long drives or really hard pulls

 

Whenever i rebuild motors i use alot of assembly lube and other lubricant during the build (possibly to much lol) . It may take quite some time before they all burn away. Just wait and see if it clears up. Dont jump the gun it could be nothing. And the vitaras may leave more smoke due to cyl clearance so x 2 on that one.

 

Agreed wait till it's broken in a little let the rings seat and than see if it continues
