Default can the idle be easily adjusted in a civic lx 1991?

I have the car running fine, but now it seems it is idling just a little too high.
In park, it idles at about 1.25k RPM's.
Is it is as easy as a turn of the screwdriver somewhere, or should i just unhook the battery, and let the computer reset itself?.

Thank you!!

yeah, theres a screw on the top of the tb, its a flat head screw, i think to raise the rpm you turn it to the left and lower you turn it to the right.

now i'm not positive but i think you have to unhook the iacv or tps sensor, adjust the screw to where you want it, shut the car off hook it back up unhook the battery so the ecu can reset and then hook it all back up.

He has DPFI...

It is located the the left of the throttle body... Left = Lower Idle... Right = Higher Idle.

You need to disconnect the IACV (right side of throttle body), set the parking brake/block the wheels, and put it in drive. Adjust the idle. Unless you have a manual transmission then just keep it in neutral and disconnect the IACV. Plug your IACV back in... Clear the codes by pulling the fuse/ or disconnecting your battery.

What ended up being worn with your car?
