Sooo I'm pretty sure my alternators slowly going out
I'm running a y7 with a obd0 alternator with a swapped out pulley to four rib
Soo I'm gonna get a new one but idk if kragen/vato zone has a four rib pulley obd0 alt.
So I wana know what you guys are doing??
I don't have access to a compressor/impact here so idk how easy its gonna be to swap pulleys :/

i ran a sohc zc ,mine was off a 95 civic and was plug & play .it should work bro, these engine components are nearly the same and interchangable
The plugs on the alternators didnt change until obd2 i believe. I know this is slightly different but im running an obd1 integra alternator on my b18 in my obd0 ED3 all the plugs are the same just had to bolt it up and plug it in.
OBD-0 and OBD-1 alternators are the same electrical hook-up wise - utilizing the round plug. OBD-2 is when they switched to the square plug.
I'm running an OBD2 ZC (JDM Y7) in my OBD0 CRX, using 4 rib pulley and an OBD1 D-Series alternator (for more amps). Kind of a **** mix but it works well besides being somewhat difficult to get on.
The 4 rib is what an "injuneer" came up with to allow the belt to have less stress/not slip for the higher amp alternators. Not only this but the later crankshaft pulleys are obviously 4 ribbed. The 3 rib has a minimal amount of less drag added with the lower amp alternator - but the benefit is negated by the higher amperage. Obviously, if you had a full out race car and HAD to still run the alternator you could run the smaller belt/alternator to squeeze out that last ~0.1 hp... haha.
It all depends on what the serpintine belt is running - on some vehicles they are up to 8 ribs or so... and I believe even more...
