well my thread got closed one me. but i was trying to figure out why my 89 hatch wont start. i have no power goin to the main relay or the ecu. the fuse block that was under the hood is now under my dash and everything in it lights up my check light. execpt for one plug. the one in the picture. could that be a problum?

 

that connector is for the ELD - probably not why it won't start - no power to ECU or main relay is usually because the ground wires at the thermostat housing are not connected or the connection there is not making good contact

 

but the grounds are connected at the thermostat. how do you check to see if its good or not?

 

but this happened a couple months ago. like i was driving and the car infront of me was being a dick so i had to shift down to forth and the car just died while i was driving. i have tryed everything i can think of. ive bought a new coil, plugs and plug wires. a new main relay. like my lights and evetything work but i jsut cant get it to fire up and go. it just turns over.
