So ill have the money by spring to get my motor together (b18c1 block with b16a head) my question is with 440cc injectors and upgraded block and headstuds. what would be a good goal for boost 10-12psi?

still not enough info, but those injectors are only good for 300whp max.

 

stock head pr3
block b18c1 eagle rods, cp 9.8 cr pistons
aem fpr, aem fuel rail, walbro 255, and have a set of precision 440cc injectors

so if im looking for more than 300, say 350 i would need at least 550s?

 

It's hard to say until you're staring at the injector's duty cycle.

 

man up and buy real injectors. If you buy new 525cc -880cc are the same price, but if you drop an extra $20 you can get 1000cc. Stock sleeves are your limit with the build that you have listed other than injectors. Spend the money in the fuel system and you should be ok to about 500whp if you have a turbo the will do it.

thanks, ill have to look into some bigger injectors then. any opinions on precision vs rc? and im aiming for 350whp maybe more down the road when i get headwork+cams etc so maybe the 650s?

 

Get ID injectors.

just get some 880's or 1000's. you can always tune "down" larger injectors and you will have some room to grow. 440's are really just for ebay-kit'd d16's.
