s366 with dual tial 38mm wastegates?
So I have decided to go with a bullseye s366 ett turbo but have a question about the wastegates. I am going with a top mount twin scroll manifold that is flanged for two tial 38mm wastegates. It is t4 flanged so I am trying to get the smallest t4 divided housing for the s366. My questions are, what is the smallest divided t4 housing, and will two tial 38mm wastegates be able to control that size turbo without upgrading to dual 44mm wastegates? And one last question, they dont make a divided t3 housing for the s366 do they?
i have that same turbo fullrace top mount twinscroll t4 and twin 38mm tial wastegates i havent dynoed the car yet but i read somewhere for highboost levels u use smaller wastegates and for low boost level u use bigger wastgates
Thanks for the quick reply. Here is a picture of the manifold I am getting. Do you think the wastegate placements are good? I have seen other manifolds like rull race with their wastegates positioned a little different.
ive seen that manifold ii was going to buy one i think they were like 750? i decided to save up a little more and just get full race and call it a day but i dont think the placement is bad
The standard one that's smallest is the .88A/R T4 and .91A/R. Boost control and its wastegate control will help with your "spool" issue for such a large turbo. I would use 2 38mm wastegates, not twin 44mm.
No. there is no Divided T3 housing for any Borg-Warner except for the EFR series.

Ok well that answers all my questions, thanks guys. Im glad I can use two 38's since I already have them. I have seen the .91 divided a/r housing but have not seen the .88a/r one. Know of any websites where I can find one? This is my first time dealing with a borg warner turbo so pretty much I just googled borg warner s366 and searched a couple websites.

not sure you will be able to control anything under 20psi with that placement
Well for a couple hundred more I can get an AFI twin scroll top mount. The wastegate placements are similar to the full race manifold so it might be worth just spending the little extra. I want to do things right the first time and I heard nothing but good things about AFI products.
Its $1250 from afi's website. Maybe I should just buy a full race from on here, its actually cheaper than I thought. For some reason I thought I saw full race twin scroll topmounts selling for $1400
yup there site says 1400 but i pm'd full race on here and they had deals going on so i got it for 1050 shipped just pm them and ask for there best price
Definitely go with the full race manifold, its worth it! I am running the s366XL with the 1.25 a/r hot side with dual 44's and the boost will creep a little bit at lower boost levels but at higher boost it holds well. I've heard that mine creeps because of my turbine housing though. I've got 10psi springs in it and it usually goes up to around 13psi. I made 426whp on 13psi. We could probably get more power out of it at that boost level but since I run ~25psi at the track we didn't worry about it.

4 inch downpipe. Not really sure when it sees full boost as I use a ramp rate on my boost controller. fwiw, when i shift into 3rd it is at 22psi by 6500
To the original poster, it sounds like you're almost running the same setup that we have on a customers car and right now we can't get boost below 21psi. We're also running a 4 inch downpipe though out the hood so you're backpressure might be a little different.

That manifold you pictured isn't the most ideal location/setup for the wastegates, the manifold in our setup also isn't the most ideal but clearance was a big factor. If I had to do it all over again, I would of put 44's on the setup.
