Default quick passenger leak help/fix

everytime it rains i get a puddle of water on my passenger floor matt.

The firewall isn't wet and nothing else is wet there is just a puddle in middle of the rubber matt.

now when i lift up the rubber matt the carpet is soaked from underneath so im guessing water is running down behind my computer somewhere and soaking the floor along with my slow little drip from somewhere behind the glove box.

** it looks as if the water is dripping from behind the blower under the passenger dash.
-> keep in mind the blower motor is completely dry and nothing is entering it from under the cowl..
(the cowl pin trick is only for 90-93 integrs, mines a 95 and do not have the secondary cowl or bullshit pins etc.

i took off my cowl and put all new foam tape gasketing and i have no sunroof for drain tubes to be the issue.

whats causing this? and how can i fix it?, its ruining my floor. and carpet.

95 integras RS.

my cowl plugs r all brand new. cowl fits perfectly.,

i do not have a/C and no it is not on anyway..

i dont get it....

i tore my a/c out recently. ddint plug the holes in the firewall though but i checked the firewall where they are and its all dry there.

i put a plastic bag over the cowl side area by the passenger hood side, and it stopped it ALOT, but still a little sign of water getting in.

i dont understand it though the only things i do not have r the hood hinge plastic covers.

any1 got any idea on this?

it never leaked before i ripped the a/c out

its not coming from the firewall, its pouring rain right now and i was looking under the hood, firewall is dry...

think about it for a minute. the a/c holes r behind the battery.. no water gets there anyway.

but no its dry there and still dripping.

this isnt making sense i dont get why its leaking..

any1 else got idea?

Pretty good bet it is the fresh air intake gasget of the blower sub assembly...
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal

Either the gasget is N/G or blower sub assemby is not mounted up to the opening properly or the outer "trim" is not seated properly. 94

The fresh air intake is "under" the cowl. 94

99% of the leaks i see/ have fixed with integras, is that that the drain tubs from the sunroof get clogged up. you just need to blow them out with air

i think you said you car is an RS.... so you shouldnt have a sunroof.... so you are going to have water coming in through your taillights and or passenger side of your cowl/ blower motor.

you should just have to clean out your cowl/ blower motor.... youll have leaves and dirt inside there so its nice to be able to clean it out.

i dont get any leaks from taillights, and the trunk etc.

iam however getting leak from passenger cowl side/blowmotor side.

I cleaned the blower motor and there is nothing in it.

The cowl is enclosed and was cleaned before i put it back on few weeks ago with new pins etc.

i have no sunroof..

now i put a plastic bag over the passenger side of the cowl and the leak has stopped. now keep in mind i had my heater turned on too blow at the floor and left it on when it rained. i turned it off since i put the plastic over the cowl and i have not had a leak since.

so either the plastic fixed my problem or turning off the heater did it. (also had the heat on full)

but the car was off so i figured this wouldnt cause it?

is there any gaskets or seals i should replace on the cowl?

i dont get how the heater or blower could have water in it? why does water get in there..

yea i just used a black silicone sealer around my entire cowl.. i have no more water problems.... my DC2 used to be so bad that i would have inches in the trunk and passenger floor board.

I would hope hbcrazy88 did not mean the actual cowl, I can't see how that would help anyway. 94

yea i didnt like doing it but had to... i had taken my car to honda for the water leak and they replaced everything.... my windshield, window seals... pretty much everything, and it was still leaking. your cowl actually has some kind of black sealent around it from the factory.
but anywho once i did that, no more water leak

so i tore my cowl off today and inspected for anything being wrong under here...

theres absolutely nothing wrong... i dont get it .... seriously.

everytime it rains i go out to a ****ing passenger side flooded....

cowl is in MINT shape, push pins r alll new, the double sided foam seals around the edges of the cowl all all mint and new.

the inside blower is clean and dry even the fresh air vent under the cowl is all dry inside theres no water getting in threw there..

but there is some water sitting around the outside of the fresh air vent under the cowl in the tray thingy where the wiper arm are seated and its all going twords the passenger fender but i dont see how its getting INSIDE the car...

i do not have a sunroof so i dont have drain tubes....

i dunno what else there is to do.. is there a drain on the passenger side somewhere? thats the only thing i can see.

did you ever figure out where the leak is coming from? i have the same problem i think, i replaced the same seals you did thinking it was that, but it still leaks, only during heavy and constant rain for me though... i actually saw it streaming down by the ecu screw mount area when it was raining hard, but couldnt source where it could be coming from... spraying water on the outside doenst seem to cause it to leak
