What color should I paint my EF hatch?
This is my 88 dx hatch.

The little rust it had has been fixed, and its ready for paint. I got some time though, wont be able to paint it until june when i get home from college.
The trim and bumpers have been restored to their oem black unpainted look, i want to keep them that way.
So what color should i paint it?

I want something thats gonna go well with the hx's. the paint on it now is obviously faded to the extreme, so idk what the oem respray is going to look like. Just trying to get opinions since keeping the bumpers black isnt all that common, and i want it to flow well.

i agree with tonylovesjdmef9 if youre not doing the oem respray. someone repainted the same car with b35m and oem black trim a few years ago. forgot who did it but pics can be found in the ef paint thread.
my paint is so faded its basically grey lol, thanks for that pic. A respray will definitely be a bluer color than what i thought, but it looks good with gold/polished wheels. thanks

black shoe polish works but thats only if you have the oem bare plastic. My plastic was already sprayed with trim paint before, so i couldn't polish, I just resprayed the bumpers and trim with duplicolor trim paint. its like 6 bucks a can and adheres really well.
