I have a set of near brand new blizzak snow tires for my Civic, which I am getting rid of soon. I want to pick up some 5lug steel rims for those tires to put them on my 5g Prelude, question is will the 14" steel rims clear the brakes/rotors? I searched around for half an hour and couldn't find anything.

I couldnt see why it wouldnt, try one on and find out even quicker then waitin for a response..

 

I don't have it yet, I'm picking the Prelude up from the dealership tonight or tomorrow and I'm selling the Civic and everything that goes along with it tomorrow so I kinda need to know.

 

14's will not fit a fifth gen.

Listen, when you get your Prelude SE, PM me which engine it comes with. I am trying to narrow down which Canadian Ludes came with H22Z1 engines like mine. Also let me know what year yours is. Thanks

 

I can't imagine the 14s clearing the brakes........but its really going to depend on the offset.
I don't think its such an easy YES/NO answer w/o details on the steel wheels.

 

Jack your car up and take off your old wheel. Then try the new one. Would take appox. 5 min. :D

 

14's will clear 10.3" rotors, but not 11.1"
