Prelude rims on civic?
Anyone know if a stock prelude 4 lug rim will fit on a civic? I searched but I can't find anything about it... I'm not to sure about the year yet if that matters.

i thought the prelude rims (depending on the year the older models might fit) are 114.5mmx4......if so, they will NOT fit a civc's bolt pattern
Civic's have a 4x100 bolt pattern stock

the 97+ preludes have a 5x114.3 and the 92-96 had a 4x114.3. Not sure about preludes before 92 but I know that the 92+ Prelude rims won't fit 4 lug Civics.

I think accord/prelude have always been 4x114.3. I've seen Civic's with 4x114.3, I think it's a swapped hub from an old ITR or something?
Would be an awful lotta work just for prelude rims though.

you must not have read the other posts.
To put 92-96 Prelude rims on you need to swap in the 96 ITR hubs. What is needed to do that I'm not sure but I don't think it's worth it.
To put 97+ Prelude rims on you would need to do a 5 lug swap. Once again, I don't think it's worth it for Prelude rims.
They might even rub because Prelude rims tend to have a large offset and wide rims.

I wanted to say that but I wasn't sure. I think the older (89 and older) Accords had 4x100 as well.

Its a 92... I love those damn rims to
I decided not to get them anyway. Not worth all the work just for those rims.

which ones? The fat 7 spoke ones? Or the swirl ones?
I can't remember what the swirl ones weigh, maybe ~16lbs, but I know the fat 7 weighs ~22lbs. I know because I bought a set, and I still have them, when I broke one of my rims on my Accord. I bought them as my daily rims then found another EX rim to replace the one I broke and was going to use the EX rims as my autox rims but totalled the car and ended all that.

Damn, those are pretty heavy. I can't find a picture of them anywhere, I don't know they don't have hubcaps, they are just one peice. Got a pic of the fat ones? I think it might be those.

in my sig there is a image station link to all the parts I have for sale from my Accord. You'll find some in there. The fat 7 ones look similar to the 99-00 Civic Si rims but you can tell the difference.
