I'm trying to BAR my ef civic si. need help please.

engine:

92-93 B18A1 all stock passes emissions tail pipe test. I have a P75 Intake manifold which came with the motor setup. I don't know why it came with it. But does not pass visual. i've changed the PCV routing and added stock intake box w/ arm. Is it possible to BAR my car with the original EF map sensor or would i have to get a 92-93 intake manifold and map sensor assembly?

 

You can get a pr4 intake manifold which is what 90-93 b18a1's use. Yes you can use a fire wall mounted map sensor. You will also need to use an obd0 or obd1 PR4 ecu along with matching components (such as distributor and o2 sensor)

 

If you have a manual transmission, make sure you get an intake manifold from a manual Integra. We tried to BAR a manual CRX with a B18A1 swap with an intake manifold from an automatic Integra. It had an extra vacuum nipple, which we capped, but the smog ref made us go buy another intake from a manual car.
