Default computer out???

I think my computer is out I cant get any spark from my distributor. I have checked my whole distributor and everything is good, so how do I check to see if my computer is good? My fuel pump still comes on, my main relay still clicks what to do?

Is your check engine light coming on for a few seconds when you fist turn the key on? Does it stay on?

In one of the manuals that I have it states that if there is power to the distributor and the coil while there is still no spark. Replace the ICM (ignitor). Even if everything tests OK.

The check engine light comes on with all the rest of the lights for a few seconds, then turns off. I checked to see if it had any codes and nothing. I tried 2 different ignitors and still no fire. I think Im not getting signal from the ecu, maybe because I dont have the knock plugged in right now waiting for the new one to come in. thats all I can figure, what do yall think?
