Cam Gears Slipped, Enough to bend valves?
So I recently got my GSR back into the civic after a full rebuild. And I was driving around for about a day and all of a sudden it just dies. Turn out the gears slipped.
All of this installation was done by the engine builder but I have been reading around and apparently AEM are known for slippage :/
About to do a compression/leak test just to make sure but I was just wondering what our local HT experts thought. Car seems top run find now, variable idles speed and weird nose coming from the engine.
here are some pics

Thanks for any input.

So I compression checked them and I'm getting:
Cylinder 1: around 220
Cylinder 2: around 210
Cylinder 3: Around 210
Cylinder 4: Around 240
I guess the next thing to do would be to do a leak down test? Car runs fine the only thing that worries me is a weird knocking noise coming from the driver side of the engine....
Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.

you're fine, leak down not needed. if you're at 200+ psi you didn't bend a valve. reset the gears and double check ignition timing, should run like a champ. btw if you don't need cam gears oem gears are much safer. if you stay after market skunk pro gears are alright but the ones you really want are toda. if you keep the aem gears tighten them down hard and use at least blue loctite on the threads after you have cleaned the threads and bolts in brake clean
Ok cool, thanks sp much for the help. After having these things slip im thinking about throwing the towel in on adjustables. Might check out toda, thanks for the recommendation.
Now i just gotta figure out what the loud knocking is:/
