Looking to get it re-painted white... so white isn't a expensive color.

 

Im no shop, but I Just picked up a 30 gal compressor today and painting my homies EJ soon...I'll let you know how I do lol.

good paint jobs arent even in the painting, its in the prep work. Wet sanding becomes your best friend

 

Yup..make sure u spend a good amount of time on the body work...there is no point in good paint when u still need bodywork

lol no lie. my friend got one from them, but he got lazy and didn't prep it himself, this is how it came out still after 6 months. i can't find the ones that came from my friends of a friends one day paint n that paint is still the way it looks from the shop from a year or two!

Also shops that can align the car for cheap and do minor body work (small dents).

 

fx auto design in north hollywood does real good work at good prices.

 

i agree, ppl should post some prices for reference! i got my last integra painted at 1 DAY for $400-500 which was OK b/c it was white (lots of orange peel but couldn't tell until up close). But now i'm looking to spend as much as $1500 on a paint job, which is still considered "cheap" since OE jobs can cost anywhere from $4k-6k.

So i'm also looking for a 'cheap' place, but not maaco/1 day cheap this time.

 

if your not in a hurry just wait till january maaco always has there top of the line paint jobs at 50% off ... i have done all my cars there every one is always shock when i tell them its a maaco paint job.

 

i heard M.O.B was good from a couple of people but idk if they're still in business.

 

is it only in january? perfect timing for me then since it'll be winter break lol!

few months back they quoted me 500 for custom color w/3 year warranty. and even though they said it's not cheaper i'm still going to prep the car myself.
