Default h23 tranny/ cable issues?

i have the m2s4 h23 tranny and couple weeks ago l was driving not gettin on it or anything and all a sudden l couldnt get into 1st gear. got home and checked everything replaced clutch slave and rebleed same thing. previously l had a crack on top of shift arm housing. so l replaced it as well along with all hardware inside such as the selector springs and selector arm. the arm was bent which cracked it. i was able to shift into 2nd then 1st and worked. 3rd l have to hold into gear basically keeps bumping out 1st and 3rd all my gears are there and are fine but wont engage correctly. l havent got chance to try 5th and rev is fine. now l have yet to have chance to check to see if the cables are binding or the arms arent going all the way over, which l think is prob. what do u think?

THEN

how about these apples..... l finally got some free time and had the old lady get in and shift back and forth from 1st to 2nd. and its not the trans at all. the damn shifter cables binding somehow and not moving it far enough so it can lock into gear. if l assist it with my hand it will go into 1st and lock w/o a issue. l have them routed like balwin did in the auto-5speed writeup and they have been like that past yr l dunno why all a sudden they wanna bind up now. can cables be bad? or a better routing?

have you got allot of clutch? Is it disengaging completely? That might explain why it works with the engine off, or something is torqing when the engines on. Motor and tranny mounts all nice and tight?

FINALLY shes fixed and better then ever. its been my shifter cable the entire time giving me this issue and many others. it shifts like i dream like brand new car. i think before the old cable was barely allowing me in gears, cuz now when l shifts its easy as hell and it grabs awesome. now l have way more torque and everything amazing a damn cable
