What Is My Green Tea CRX Worth?
Alright folks here's the deal. I always like to brag about how little I have invested in my CRX due to getting lots of parts either free or from junk yards. Ive always made due with other peoples unwanted junk and been able have fun with it. One of my buddies Mr Rob pointed out last night what he thought I had tied up in my drag CRX. I told him he was nuts and then started thinking more and more about the discussion we had. So I spent some time online tonight adding up the "real world costs" of my car and its parts. I omitted labor because I did all my own work of course. When I got done adding I was astonished!!!!!
Here is my question to all of you who read this thread... what do you think the number I came up with is and what do you think the CRX would sell for and how much do I have tied up in it? I am by no means selling my car. I love my REX and probably wont ever sell it. Im just curious what everyone thinks. Please try to be serious and humor me!!!! If it was on the side of the road, craigslist, or on HT what would expect this car to be priced at?
So what would it sell for?
And how much money do I have tied up in it?

I am a tech at a long time Honda tuner shop in NW Florida. We specialize in building and Dyno tuning Hondas. My boss is a huge honda nut and has a grave yard of hondas and prosche's. Plus I have a ton of great friends that scour the junkyards around here for Honda parts. When they dont have the spare cash to buy a certain item they usually call me. Most of the time I buy the parts in question and shelf them for a later date. That is exactly how this build got put together. The only items I had to buy to build the engine the way I wanted were the pistons and the Intake. I literally pulled the head, throttle body, header, block, crank, and the intake from junkyards. All the other misc stuff like the rods, and supporting goodies ive had for years on my Integra which is now my DD and nearly stock.
5. "Which one is better EF or X car" or "EF; X car". Should I trade/sell/buy Car X for Car Y. "Would you buy this car?".
