"JDM" Front Camber kit: Im not tracking the car, will it work? *car picture inside*
Sup all.
1999 Civic Dx
FnF Type One coil overs
CTR front and rear sway bars
205/45/16 Direzza DZ101 front and Parada Spec II rear
I recently put my car back to stock exterior wise minus suspension wheels and tires. I dont really care about the car any more because I want to get a new one. Right now I have about 3.5d camber in the front and 1.5 in the rear. I just purchased some new tires so I dont want to waste them so fast.
I found a "JDM" camber kit on craigslist for $40 picked up. Will it work decently enough? I just use the car to get to work and get groceries, no hard driving. If I could get some info from people that have the kit it would be greatly appreciated.
Ignore the hipster filter, I was fooling around with the settings on my phone.

I had BFG GeForces that lasted me about 6 months because of horrible toe. My Ventus RS-2's lasted me about a year and a half and thats because I got my alignment mid ways into having them. If I wouldve had the alignment when I purchased them I would probably still be using them today. They are amazing tires.
Point of the story, if you have altered suspension get an alignment FAST.

Will it work? Sure. Will it last? Not likely.
I just checked on ebay. Just what I thought it would it be.
Don't be suprised if the bushings and the ball joints fail, and if/when those bolts holding the ball joint in brake. (which happens quite often)
The like to seize. When that happens, good luck.
Also, you may run into interference issues, camber kit smashings into the shock towers.
DON'T FORGET TO GET IT ALIGNED AFTER INSTALLING!!!

Ill skip on it, thanks for the advice. I dont mind cheap parts as long as they work and get the job done. But putting cheap parts on the suspension is pushing it lol.
Also my tires lasted me 6 months with no alignment, a year and half with an alignment done when the tires got to 4/32's, so ill wait like 6 months and see how the tires look. I have lifetime alignments at Firestone so right now its good.
