carbon fiber hood repair???
ok so i picked up a cb hood at the junk yard for my 89 crx si and its in pretty bad condition its been out in the elements for a while its has cracks and chips in the clear/resin
some chips are all the way down to the cb i was wondering if its even repairable???
when i get a chance ill post some pics of the damage

i would just paint match the car and paint it body color. even if it was perfect. another idea would be to get a h logo, like a spray mask, and then after you painted it tear the spray mask off and then you'd be able to tell its a fiber hood, that matches, the car.
x2. unless the cars, gunmetal or black, then it looks alright. but yeah street cars look unfinished with mix match panels. but to answer your question, yeah its fixable.

If you cant restore the clear coat I would def re-paint it the same color as your car and just use it to loose weight!!! Still a positive even with a shitty CF hood! lol
