~19,xxx miles on motor since build
~5,xxx miles since timing belt was replaced
~3,000 miles on new turbo
Less than 1,000 miles since rebuilt transmission
Built by AV-Tuning and Development (formly known as AV-Engineering) http://www.av-engineered.com/site/
Build thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/prelude2perfects-500-fwhp-bb6-2493285/
Currently tuned on 93 pump gas at about 450 whp. Capable of much more power if wanted, just needs to be retuned on either race gas or E85. 450 was plently enough for the street that's why I didn't go higher. I'm using Hondata's boost by gear so this car hooks pretty well in first gear and very well in second gear and up.
Asking Price: $17,500 OBO
Willing to trade for stock (or near stock) vehicle plus cash
VIN Number:JHMBB6140WC003784
This is truely a sad, sad day for me. I absolutely hate to get rid of my prelude but, I just don't have the time for the Honda game anymore now that I have a family. I could also use the extra money to upgrade the clutch, lsd, and turbos on my BMW. I also can't stand to see it sitting in the garage not being driven or shown off like it should be. I'm the second owner of the car. Car originated from Florida where I bought it and brought to North Carolina. It's been here in MN for the last 2.5 years and has always been garaged.
This car used to be my daily driver until I had the build done and moved here to MN where it gets stored in the garage for the long winters. Now it's an occasional weekend driver but, I mostly just take it to car shows and meets. It's only been to the dragstrip once and I couldn't get any good times in because the transmission was starting to go. Other than that it hasn't been tracked.
This is by far one of the cleanest, fastest, most complete, and just plain awesome Honda Prelude's in the World. I invested a lot of time and money into this car because I have always loved the Prelude. I'm not a big Honda guy but, the Prelude has always been one of my favorite cars. I treated this car like it was my child. It is nearly flawless.
I''m not in a huge rush to sell since I don't absolutely need to get rid of it. I'd prefer to keep the car the way it is even though I know I would get more if I parted it out. I don't expect to get anywhere near the amount of money back that I put into it but, I'm also not willing to take a ginormous hit on it either. If I have to, I will part it out but I don't want to rip apart a perfectly complete car. The way I came up with the asking price is I took totaled up all the aftermarket parts (no labor) and divided in half and then added that to the KBB excellent condition price and added a grand for the paint job.

The only things that have changed since these photos are that I changed the color of the valve cover, IC piping, and catch can. They are now a gunmetal type color. I also added custom made foglight covers to the Mugen replica bumper (they look AMAZING), and some mugen pedals. I might be forgetting some minor details but, If I remember I'll add to this later.
Oh, Oil has always been changed by me since the build with full synthetic and PP1 filters every 2.5k miles or less. I'm very **** about taking care of this car. I personally detail it myself too and the paint is still nearly flawless except the front bumper which is a bit beaten up by rock chips.

bump for by guy !
i can vouch for this car any day.
His car and dana sk2 are probably the cleanest and well built (no short cuts) cars in MN.
To help you out......whoever buys this car, I will throw in a free powder coated valve cover to the new owner.
