so im in the process of laying out my roll cage and was wondering if the rear seat delete that came in the crx would fit in my hatch if so what all is needed?

ive searched HT and google to no avail...any help would be appreciated

Isn't the rear cover thingy in the CRX just too small?

 

i just want to know if the rear seat delete will fit with hatch interior ...what im referring to is the little cargo tray that bolts in place of the rear seat bottom....i can make a panel for the seat back but id like the little extra storage compartments.....and i already know im retarded for wanting a full interior with a roll cage but i hate the gutted look on my car...it just feels wrong

 

Well I went and looked at my '91 CRX Si and my '89 Civic Si, just because they were next to each other, and it doesn't seem to me it would work out... Looks as if the cover is too narrow - but then again sometimes I am standing at an angle...

 

now thats what i was wanting to know ....too narrow which way width depth or height ...cuz im willing to modify if its close i just dont want to build one out of wood for obvious reasons

 

I've heard of people fitting integra backrests into a CRX with some hackjob or something...

or, just make something similar. Looks pretty easy to make.

alternatively, you could go to a junk yard and get lucky and find a crx and civic hatch and try mocking it up? but that's sorta rare to find (around here anyways)

i thought you were going to ask about the full rear interior.

 

no i already know the full interior wont fit...i i was wanting the seat delete to look as factory as possible
