Ok of course like the title says I have the d16y5 I have search and search but I can't find it so my question is has any one swapped the skeleton out of a y8 head to a y5


I don't know if it will work but wouldn't that make it a y8 head if u use the cam and rewire the dizzy ?
Any info on that would help

because 1 stage vtax can be much more simply tuned than 2 stage vtaxes.
also can haz racecam

op, the valve train can be swapped, but the y8 head has bigger ports.
y8/y5 heads are from the same casting...
