rear driver side wheel looks slanted??
my rear driver side wheel looks a bit slanted and when i'm driving i feel a swerving motion from left to right? what problem can it be? thanks any info would be a real help to my problem.
Could be an issue with your strut, if the shock is blown it would be lower on that side than the others and the wheel would be tilted more. And it wouldn't be very stable.
The strut seem fine.. I bought it to a mechanic and I was told it was the upper rear control arm.. I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem before. Thanks

could be a few things. you probably just need a good front/end alignment. bring it to a good alignment shop. hopefully it's just a camber/caster/toe and not a tie rod or bearing or something that could get kinda spendy.
i hope so as well, the front doesnt pull or anything. its just the rear.
Camber is not adjustable stock. Toe does not angle the wheel like he is describeing.
I don't think a bearing can cuase the wheel to tilt inwerd either, well, unless there is something really ****ing wrong in there.
Hit the junk yard find another uca, swap it in. If it fixes it cool, if not, it's like something worse. Such as the trailing arm being bent.
I feel really stupid for not asking if the car is lowered?
Still suprised no one said it though.
you need to perform a shakedown test on the wheel,
worn out control arm bushings can make the tire lean
i don't think a bearing will be as bad as angling the wheel and still not make any noises
you have to repair any damaged parts, worn bushings, before getting an alignment, or else you'll have to get it Realigned after you fix the part

that would have been my second guess but for that to happen I figure you had to actually damage it which I'm sure you would have known about. If it is really that bad it may not be safe to drive. I'd take some extra time to look at everything.

i just inspected the car my self and it isnt the upper rear control arm. i think the mechanic just assume that it was the urca. because he just drove it and didnt actually get a chance to remove the tire and inspect it. what i seen is that the trailing arm bushing is really bad.. i'll post up the pictures of the trail arm and control arm.
