is the sound of engine consistent or does it have a ticking note?

 

if you have ticking noise, try doing a valve adjustment.i have a slight ticking noise, but it doesn't bother me.

 

slight ticking is normal and becomes more pronounced w/ an after market header.

when u refer to ticking you mean when the motor purrs right, how it's not just a clean noise from the exhaust at idle but a motorcycle like sound right? Or when you say ticking, you mean actual tick tock ticking noises??? Sorry...just trying to figure out if I myself need a valve adjustment.

 

the exhaust note sounds more aggressive in a sense where it kinda resemble a v8 at idle minus 4 cyclinders... back to baseball and beer
