Default breaking drive axles...help

I have a 2000 ap1 with a stage 4 clutch. i broke my axles twice already in the week. both times when i broke them i was launching at about 4500rpm to 5k rpm. after i broke the second ones i was told that i should not be able to dump the clutch at any rpm, that i should ease-out the clutch. does anyone know if i should be able to dump the clutch? also the axles that i put in are brand new not rebuilt and the warranty on them does not cover the outside breaking which is where its breaking. ive seen a video on youtube where an ap1 drops the clutch at 9krpm and no problem which is why im doubting the person who said i shouldnt.

also ive notice a nice amount of play on the drive-shaft which i was told that was normal, my theory is that since the drive-shaft has play when i put the power down it spins the shaft with too much(do to the play) until it gets to the point that grips and because of the over power allowed by the play it will break, just a thought

How much power are you putting down? Early AP1s are know to for their rear ends grenading, which is why later cars have a clutch delay valve. Having a "stage 4" clutch isn't helping either. Is the clutch unsprung? You really can't expect to dump it all the time w/o breaking stuff.

Why are you dumping the clutch? It isnt gaining you any performance...unless you just want to do donuts.

On a side note, if you "bump" the clutch it should remove that slack in the drivetrain and will help to prevent broken axles. That slack causes a harsh jar on the drivetrain and can help break parts.

On a final note, if you want to do things Honda never ment, you need to buy bigger stronger parts. Instead it sounds like you've replaced good OEM parts with cheaper (ie easier to break) aftermarket units...time to upgrade to some decent parts.

If its lowered u should get axle spacers if you don't it changes the angle to much on the axle n pits the CVS then brakes on you easier, I've go through three bought a used on the first time to get by then broke the other then the used one, now I don't have any issues after installing axle spacers

im not putting down too much power im n/a on some goodies with a ems but that should not be causing my axles to break. as far the car being dropped i was told it in on lowering springs from who i bought it from. i can try the axle spacers for now. the rear alignment was done recently. has anymore put performance axles on their S or made their rear end posi?

Hmmm...axle spacers wont prevent axles from breaking, pitted CV buckets yes broken axles no, my question is who did your rear axle install? What axles did you use? OEM/DriveShaft/Gator/AdvanceAuto/AutoZone? Stage 4 clutch being na, are you spraying? If youre attempting to launch at 4.5k, I'd think your diff would go before axles with you being na(try lauching at 6.5k). Please post pics of damage,if you can.
