I have a 1994 honda accord lx, i done a diagnostic check, i know how to read the code its giving, but i dont know what the codes mean i could really use some help, please and thanks

 

What is a 'diagnostic check' and how are you obtaining a code? Is it a CEL or SRS or what?

 

If it is a CEL then use the Search feature and there is a huge list of how to obtain them and what they mean.

 

ok what i done is stick a paper clip cut in half into a plugin a mech. shop showed me but instead of the cel light blinking theres a green square light around my D(drive symbol) that blinks the way they said the cel would, let me just say that im no where near to being a mechanic i just know turn the key and it should start unless the battery is dead other than that im lost, cuz my car will only start once in the morning if its cool outside and once at night if its cool outside never in the heat of the day

 

If there is no CEL and it is just the D blinking that would indicate a transmission issue.

The D4 light should blink some long and some short flashes. Record what those flashes are to get the code.

Example -

2 long flashes and 1 short flash would be a code 21
