Default 1993 Honda civic dx white smoke

I have a 1993 Honda Civic DX D15B7 and auto transmission and there is a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I just replaced the head gasket when I pulled the head off because I needed to replace two exhaust valves in one cylinder because one was chipped i just changed the oil and the coolant when i replaced the head gasket. I am not sure what is causing it to smoke.

Did you torque the head to spec and in sequence?

coolant is getting into your combustion chamber, re-torque head, or like stated above, it could be warped, from possibly over heating

Also, did you allow the motor to cool down before taking the head bolts out?

Hmm...I'm having a similar problem with my EG2. I believe my problem is it has 260,xxx miles on it. Does yours smell pretty strong?

I torqued the head in sequence and to spec in the two stage pattern following Michal on demand and I replaced the head bolts when i put it all back together. I am going to try to re-torque the head. Is it possible that the cat is saturated with coolant and is burning it off or could it be sucking transmission fluid into a vacuum line some how and burring that. I had some of the valves resat and the machinist milled the head flat when i had it out so I dont think it is warped.
