1993 Honda civic dx white smoke
I have a 1993 Honda Civic DX D15B7 and auto transmission and there is a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I just replaced the head gasket when I pulled the head off because I needed to replace two exhaust valves in one cylinder because one was chipped i just changed the oil and the coolant when i replaced the head gasket. I am not sure what is causing it to smoke.
coolant is getting into your combustion chamber, re-torque head, or like stated above, it could be warped, from possibly over heating

I torqued the head in sequence and to spec in the two stage pattern following Michal on demand and I replaced the head bolts when i put it all back together. I am going to try to re-torque the head. Is it possible that the cat is saturated with coolant and is burning it off or could it be sucking transmission fluid into a vacuum line some how and burring that. I had some of the valves resat and the machinist milled the head flat when i had it out so I dont think it is warped.
