So, i recently just bought a del sol with a b16a swap in it. i discovered a few problems. one is that there are a few loose sensors hanging out in my engine bay. not too sure what 2 are, but i know one of them is the o2 sensor. but i just have no idea what the wiring diagram is for that sensor or where it goes.

Number of wires and wire colors in loose connectors?

 

Looks like the top sensor in first pic goes to the O2 sensor in the last pic. I'm guessing you have an Si or S model that the B16A was added to? If the sensors don't reach you'll need an extension harness. The other plug looks to be part of the headlight or AC harness.

 

The del sol is a 1995 Vtec model. i have a hondata ecu. isnt there some sort of wiring diagram that i can refer to?

 

 

The bottom plug on the first pic (near the hole where the intake box was) is the AC stuff. I have the same thing on mine (previous owner removed it)

 

alright, so i dont need to worry about that one. but what about the other plug? does it connect to the o2 sensor?

 

Seriously -- Please don't post another question in this thread until you post numbers of wires and wire colors for the loose connector.

 

Top Picture -

Bottom connector has yellow, blue, black (yellow stripe), black(red stripe), and a white/tan looking color.

Top connector has yellow, orange, green, and that same white/tan color.

Bottom Picture-

The "o2 sensor" has what i can see looks like all black, grey and white wires, and there is an odd red wire wrapped around it and taped at the end. not too sure whats going on there

If it was a D16 before the o2 sensor was in the front off the header, and you will need to lengthin the wirest to get it to the back on the b motor.

 

i just need to know what these connectors are and where they should go.
