Default new engine installed wont start

just finished installing an jdm f22a into my 90 cb7. got everything hooked up and replaced the main relay. i have fuel at the fuel rail but it just wont start. i have tried new plug wires. also tried removing the f22a distributor and installing the old f2214 distributor and same thing,

it cranks just fine but wont turn over. ecu was also replaced an f22a ecu.

any ideas on what i could have missed?

i may have installed the distributor wrong not sure though.

also deleted the balance shaft belts. not sure if that would have any effect.

i just want my baby running again.

Do you have spark @ the plugs? and have you tried doing a compression test?

Check your ground wires and connections....

You said "it cranks just fine but wont turn over". Don't you mean it will not fire. Because cranking and turning over are the same thing in my book. Your statement was contradicting. And I double the "check grounds".

correct. was quite drunk when i made the post. i did miss the engine ground so ill get that hooked up.

also had a problem where the passenger wheel was locking up when towing it to the front yard. did a roh conversion in the front.it looked like the wheel was hitting the brake caliper. finding a replacement passenger axle was a pita too. ended up using a with abs axle even though i dont have abs. the non abs one would not go in the tranny for some reason

have no checked for spark but im using the old distributor, wires, coil etc from the old engine. ill pull the plugs tomorrow and see what they look like. no i did not perform a compression check. the engine was ordered from tiger japanese and a did not take the engine itself apart at all(didnt wanna mess with the honda factory fairy). did replace the oil pan/gasket and valve cover and gasket. also used some c clips to keep the lower timing belt cover from rubbing the alternator. thanks for the ides guys much appreciated. i just wanna get this thing back on the road. did a morimoto mh1 6k retrofit into thr stock lo beams and blacked out the housing. stock high beam of course. light output looks great.
